Founding member of WeConsent.org Anna Span has been a feminist porn director and a pro-porn campaigner since graduating from Central St Martin's in1998. She has filmed over 300 porn scenes and once worked for adult TV channel, Television X full time as an editor. She chaired the Adult Industry Trade Association from 2009-2011. She ran for election in 2010 under her real name Anna Arrowsmith for The Liberal Democrats, and is currently studying a PhD (DPhil) in Gender Studies at Sussex University on the subject of men's opinions of women on the subject of dating. I love the freedom and the ability to put my money where my mouth is, that is to do the job I dreamed of instead of just dreaming about it. I love being my own boss and also being part of the debate around sexuality and censorship in the UK. I really enjoy being part of culture that really infuriates Middle England especially because it empowers rather than victimises women, which they may never understand...

Would most like to change about job:

Removal of pirating of copyright online, then we could all go back to shooting porn and being creative because it would pay...
