Allow porn in schools: Swiss men's group

A Swiss organization for men and fathers is pressing for teachers to be given the freedom to show pornographic materials to children in class.

The group, Männer.ch, told newspaper NZZ am Sonntag that it wants teachers to be able to show children porn in the classroom so that young people can learn how to deal with it.

The group is calling for a change in the law so that "parents and trained professionals are not liable to prosecution if they make pornographic materials accessible to 16-year-olds with a clear educational objective and within a carefully selected and well-defined setting."

The leader of the movement is 39-year-old sociologist and psychologist Markus Theunert.

“Today, an overwhelming majority of children have already seen pornographic movies over the internet or on smartphones,” he told NZZ.

Swiss Porn Takes Artistic Turn

BERN, Switzerland — Faced with a stagnant, web-saturated market, Swiss filmmakers are offering a new take on adult that they feel provides a more artistic and humorous approach to porn.

Unhappy with the current state of the porn market in their country, Sabine Fischer and Sandra Lichtenstern began experimenting with vintage ‘70’s porn in 2009 and have built their project into a business that has sold thousands of copies of new videos in just a few months, mainly to young couples and almost entirely by word of mouth.

One of their projects is a slick production called "Glory Hazel."

“We look for the scenes that are most tongue-in-cheek, entertaining, or even schmaltzy, and then we cut them out and put them back together again in a new artistic product,” Lichtenstern told swissinfo.ch. “We believe that pornography needs the support of artists so as not to turn into a product for people obsessed with sex, and to distance itself from all this dreadful mediocrity.”

The women said they deliberately chose ‘70’s porn for their model.

A 39-year-old Bosnian-born sex worker in Zurich hounded a former client who had tried to break off their relationship. She was convicted of several charges, though the court found her not guilty of "coercion" to have sex.

ZURICH -  “What I don’t get is how you violently force a man who is 190 cm (6’ 2’’) tall, against his will, to drop his pants,” said a 39-year-old masseuse and sex worker. The defendant was explaining to a Zurich district court earlier this week why she couldn’t be convicted for sexual coercion.

The woman was right on that score – she was not sentenced for coercion, but nevertheless received a 24-month prison sentence for stalking a banker for nearly two years, pressuring him into sex, and other charges.

The sex worker and the married banker – who at the time worked in a top management position in a large Swiss bank – met in 2008. By January 2009, he wanted to break off all contact, but she had fallen in love. So for the next two years, she called, texted and e-mailed him incessantly.

The woman threatened that she would kill herself – or him – and that she would tell his wife about the extramarital affair. Other threats included contacting his work colleagues and telling them stories about him, or showing up at his home or place of work. “You have exactly until 1 PM,” reads one text message from the sex worker to the banker. “If we haven’t set up a date by then I will take action.” A “date” meant “have sex.”
